|
The Digiquartz®
Barometers are used in a variety of precision Meteorological
applications. The Model
745-16B and Model 765-16B are
used as transfer standards in laboratory and field applications.
These standards have been used in an international
calibration and intercomparison study originated by the
Norwegian Meteorological Institute (DMNI). Additionally,
barometers have been submitted to an ongoing
stability test. Median drift rate
of the units was -0.007 hPa (-0.0002 in Hg) per year. Pressure
hysteresis tests showed a mean hysteresis less than 0.001 hPa.
Frequency output transducers can be connected to
an intelligent
electronic card to make a system capable of RS-232 and RS-485
operation.
A two line LCD digital display, the Model 715, can be connected to all new
Paroscientific transmitters with
RS-232 and
RS-485 outputs to provide digital readout of pressure,
temperature, engineering units, overpressure warning, tare
indication, user defined messages and a horizontal bar graph
showing percentage of full-scale pressure. |
